How to Hack a Budget Perimenopause

budget-perimenopause.png

There are a hundred and one supplements and products marketed for perimenopause and it’s easy to feel bamboozled. The danger is that we spend all our time scrolling to find what will help us and forget that our wisdom is within us. Like a couple of ninja Grannies, Jane and Kate are going to show you how to hack your menopause with the resources from the kitchen cupboards or on our doorstep. You don’t need fixing at all, there’s nothing wrong, perimenopause needs simple, do-able self-care that is available to all of us and doesn’t cost a packet.

Perimenopause is a sensitive time, we’re in transition, busy on the inside becoming the kind of woman we’ve always longed to be; loving towards herself, holding her authority and her vulnerability, brimful of creative vitality with plentiful access to everyday pleasure. Unfortunately, our culture does not make room for us to nourish and protect our sensitive selves through the perimenopause years and this creates stress and pesky symptoms. When we’re in these sticky places, our tendency is to panic and throw some money at a fancy solution, when in fact the remedies are much closer to home and you already have all the wisdom you need.

Stay close, shop local, instead of looking outside of oneself. We know to shop local with our food, apply it to our life. What is in my kitchen cupboard, on my doorstep? How can I engage the people around to be part of the solution?

At How to Hack Your Budget Perimenopause we’re cutting through the noise and sharing effective kitchen sink remedies that don’t cost a fortune and a process to enable you to go within to make sustainable changes with kindness and care, which you can rinse and repeat as required.

 At the workshop we’ll:

  • Rest with a yummy yoga Nidra

  • Explore the science of making changes that stick

  • Take a look at what might get in the way

  • Identify what kindness your symptoms are asking you for, from the inside

  • Figure out how to build more rest into your life

  • Commit to a small change that will have a big impact

  • Set up accountability for yourself

  • Troubleshoot problems in advance, with kindness

A week before the workshop you’ll receive a worksheet with a range of accessible remedies for you to explore and a chart to monitor your perimenopausal experience, the workshop will be a playground to explore how to make changes that will work for you in your life.

The workshop is on Zoom and will be recorded so it’s available to you if you can’t make the date. £18
