  • The interplay between these affect female health greatly. Stress hormones can alter sex hormones which in turn sends blood sugar levels high. This is a key part of a Functional Kinesiology treatment.

  • A key component in health is discovering what foods your body is not able to tolerate, essential for balancing hormones, blood sugars, emotions and nervous system.

  • What goes on in our physical body is influenced by what is happening in our emotional lives, our relationships, work and social lives. Healing comes from exploring not just what is happening to our bodies but also how we move through life, and how we can implement sustainable change within our lifestyles.

What is Functional Kinesiology?

Functional Kinesiology combines traditional kinesiology techniques with cutting-edge functional nutrition and emotional techniques to address imbalances and support clients' overall well-being. They use muscle testing and other assessments to identify imbalances and develop personalized plans to address them. Sessions can be in-person or online.

Functional Kinesiology is a ground breaking new mode of kinesiology that seeks to address hormonal imbalances in the body to prevent disease and promote health. It does this by focussing on the 3 main hormone groups

  • Blood Sugars hormones

  • Stress hormones

  • Sex hormones

Kinesiology uses a blend of Traditional Chinese Medicine and western chiropractic techniques which enable me, as a Functional Kinesiologist, to assess and treat you as an individual.

Kinesiology uses muscle testing and a range of gentle yet powerful techniques to bring the body into balance. I also integrate other healing techniques and modalities into the session where appropriate and indicated by the muscle response.

Core Principles:

  • Holistic Approach:

Functional Kinesiology practitioners view the body as a whole, considering physical, electrical, emotional, and nutritional aspects.

  • Muscle Testing:

Muscle testing is a key tool used to assess the body's response to various factors, helping to identify imbalances and potential stressors.

  • Functional Nutrition:

Understanding the impact of nutrition on the body's systems and tailoring dietary recommendations to individual needs is a crucial part of the practice.

  • Emotional Support:

Functional Kinesiology also addresses the emotional connection to health, providing tools and techniques to help clients navigate emotional challenges and stress.
