The Female Pelvis - an online workshop for Yoga Teachers, Pilates Instructors, Fitness Professionals & Coaches. 16th September 1-3pm GMT. £30

This online Yoga Teachers Forum specialist 2hr workshop is for yoga teachers, pilates instructors and fitness coaches who would like to have more knowledge and experience in creating female pelvic friendly class content which allows a woman to connect and create awareness to this very powerful but often bypassed part of the body.

The female pelvis is the seat of feminine power, creation and deep cyclical wisdom. It has a huge influence on a woman’s physical, emotional and sexual wellbeing, and takes centre stage in her experience of life - from first sexual explorations, through puberty, pregnancy & childbirth, to perimenopause and menopause.

Yet so often this part of the body is shrouded in mystery, shame, disfunction and disconnection and this comes at a great loss. Disconection to the pelvis not only influence physical pelvic conditions but can also play out through the rest of the body, affecting posture and movement, and also has repercusions  with a woman’s relationship to her sexuality, sensuality and sense of self.

So many women experience pelvic issues in silence - incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, painful sex, lack of libido, lack of sensation, painful periods, vaginal atrophy, pcos and endometriosis to name a few.

It doesn’t have to be like this and yoga is a wonderful place to explore and promote connection and wellbeing.

Through trauma-informed and sensitive practices a woman can cultivate pelvic awareness, connection and health, bringing balance and wellbeing to this powerful part of herself.

In this online workshop you will

  • Find out why the pelvis is paramount to a woman’s mind and body wellbeing.

  • What can happen when there is pelvic disconnect and how as movement facilitators you can make a difference.

  • How a woman’s life stages can have an impact on her pelvic wellbeing.

  • Explore practises to create connection, intimacy and wellbeing using a mix of movement, breathwork and visualisation.

It was a really good workshop, gave me lots to think about & get curious about and some good resources to take to my students and 1-1 clients. Jen Sedgwick- yoga teacher.

There will be time for experiential learning, sharing and  for questions to be addressed.

This session will be recorded for future reference to those attending the workshop.

Booking is through Yoga Teachers Forum through the booking link below, on booking you will receive the zoom link.
